Intra Oral Camera
Using an Intra Oral Camera gives us an opportunity to give you a guided tour of your mouth.
The intra oral camera is easily manoeuvred around your mouth, and we can show you on a screen at the same time what it is we are seeing.
We find this experience helps us communicate and educating our patients with necessary next steps or treatment planning.
Low Dose, Digital Radiographs
At Burwood Dental Centre we use a low dose, digital radiograph.
This is due to the fact that it uses 90% less radiation than other dental radiographs, but also is instant and allows us to see the images on the computer right away and analyse them for you right then and there.
OPG
We take panoramic dental x-rays of the upper and lower jaw with our Orthopantomograms (OPG).
These types of dental x-rays are a huge asset to our practice as it provides us with an overall view of the mouth and assists in treatment planning.
